Moab is an extremely rugged region of the United States. Its bizarre landscape, near perfect weather, and numerous outdoor activities, makes for a teen’s adventure dream come true. This is a church oriented excursion that includes rafting, repelling, hiking, and biking. Organized by Dr. Vince Marino, Morning Star Ministries, the week long adventure is for teenage boys, 7th grade and up to seniors. It is scheduled for the last week in May 2012.
Faith Lutheran Church was founded in 1964. Myers Hall was our original sanctuary but, since the completion of our current sanctuary in 1989 it has served as a fellowship hall. You can still see where the original altar was because the sanctuary cross still hangs in that location. In 1969, Faith Lutheran School and Daycare was founded to serve the needs of the local community. Since that time our family and ministry have grown.
